The revival is a single-player only experience ( Republic Commando had a less-remembered multiplayer mode) with modernized controls.
Though 16 years old, the game has a strong following among Star Wars fans, and it was also spun off into five paperback adaptations by Karen Traviss. Star Wars : Republic Commando will launch for Switch and PS4 (it will be playable on PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility) on April 6 and cost $14.99, available in both consoles’ online stores. This in fact marks the game’s debut on PlayStation and Nintendo, as the original was an Xbox and Windows PC exclusive.
